    Injury solicitor in Ladbroke Grove

Are you able to claim compensation via an injury solicitor in Ladbroke Grove?

Ladbroke Grove is a west London road running through Kensington and Chelsea in London. In September 1897, neighbours in Ladbroke Grove were startled when a servant girl was found covered in blood shouting ‘police’ and ‘murder’.

When the police followed the girl into a first floor apartment, they discovered Mr Marsh lying in a pool of blood with a deep gash across his throat. He lay dying. A large carving knife and a razor were on a table in the same room.

After some questions, it turned out that Mr Marsh was a vet and had lately taken to drinking too much alcohol. During the morning he had been quarrelling with his wife over money matters and had threatened to take her life. Mrs Marsh cried for help and a servant ran to her assistance as both her and her husband became entangled in a violent struggle. The servant managed to separate them but got badly stabbed in the hand and then Mr Marsh drew the knife across his own throat.

    A blood-splattered room

Mr Marsh was dead by the time the doctor arrived to find a scene of great confusion amongst a blood splattered room. At the inquest, evidence was given that Mr Marsh was normally a kind and also temperate man but had lately been under the illusion that he was going to be arrested for debt. The verdict was that Mr Marsh had committed suicide whilst temporarily insane. He was only thirty five years old and a canine specialist. He left behind a wife and several children.

The story of Mr Marsh is indeed distressing; however, we must not forget that the servant suffered from personal injuries through no fault of his own. If you are ever in a situation like that, it will be a dreadful thing to happen to you, however, you might be able to claim compensation with an injury solicitor in Ladbroke Grove.
