Personal Injury Insurance Claims – Your Questions Answered

Making injury insurance claims can be a long and complicated process, so to help you decide whether it is the right course of action for you, we have put together a selection of the questions most frequently asked by callers to our helpline. Whether you are still trying to decide if you should start a claim, or you have a niggling concern about an existing claim, have a look at the questions and answers below, and if you need any more information just give our helpline a call.

How do I know if I am eligible to claim?

There are 2 ways you can find out if you are eligible:

    • Take our 30-second test, which is available on our website – all you have to do is input a few basic details about your accident, and the results are returned immediately
    • Call our 24-hour helpline to speak to one of our friendly advisers

Either way, you will also be offered an estimate of the amount of compensation you could receive, based on previous results of similar cases.

How much does it cost to make personal injury insurance claims?

We work on a basis of no win, no fee*, which means that it will cost you nothing to start a claim, and if you win your case you will be able to claim back your solicitor’s fees from the other side. This system makes it financially viable for innocent accident victims to obtain compensation for their injuries.

How will I find a good solicitor?

If you claim with Accident Advice Helpline, we will provide a recommendation for the best personal injury lawyer in your area, from our network of independent legal partners. All our legal partners are experienced in claims of this type, and will put together your case and represent you in court.

How long does it take to process personal injury insurance claims

It is impossible to state with any certainty, how long your claim will take, as each case is unique with varying complexities. You can rest assured, however, that we will manage your claim proactively, keeping you regularly updated throughout the process.

Why should I choose you to help me with my claim?

With over 14 years of experience behind us, we are now one of the top claims management companies in the country, and our service is endorsed by consumer rights champion, Esther Rantzen. Our work is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, so you know that we are an ethical and responsible company working with your best interests at heart.
