    Injuries personal

If you are reading this, the chances are that you have had an accident which wasn’t your fault and which led to injuries. Personal injury claims are the specialism of Accident Advice Helpline, and we could help you recover the compensation you deserve.

Taking the first steps towards pursuing your claim couldn’t be easier: just visit our website to take our 30 Second Test, or speak to one of our friendly and professional advisers on our freephone number 0800 689 0500 (or 0333 500 0993, if you are calling us from your mobile phone) to get an initial indication of whether or not you have a claim, with no further obligation. There are some questions you may want answered, even before you make this initial enquiry, however. To that end, we have made up a short questions and answers post to address some of the concerns you might have.

    Q. In my accident, I suffered serious injuries personal property was broken, and I’ve lost my job. Can I recover for all of this?

    A. Yes, all of these factors will be taken into account when calculating how much compensation you are entitled to. Working out the actual sum you will get for your injuries alone can be quite difficult, but we have over a decade of experience in these sorts of claims, and can give you a good idea of the range of money you could expect to recover. This part of the financial compensation would take into account any impact injuries personal have had on your quality of life, as well as the seriousness of the injury itself. Losing a limb will obviously lead to more compensation than breaking one, for example. Recovering for broken or damaged possessions is also very straightforward, and it’s very usual to recover an adjusted sum for any loss of earning capacity.

    Q. Because of the nature of my injuries personal long-term care is necessary. Can I recover the cost of this?

    A. Yes, the cost of any care, physiotherapy, or other ongoing medical treatment stemming from the accident will be recoverable. We are dedicated to ensuring that our clients get the full sum they deserve in all of our cases, so you can be sure that we will make sure that you are compensated for any costs of this nature.

    Q. I wasn’t the only one injured in the accident, can I claim for my family, too?

    A. If the accident led to injuries, personal to yourself or of your family or someone you know, it will ground a claim. However, each claim must technically be made by the person injured, but can be joined to your claim. This often highlights the seriousness of the accident, and makes the process more efficient. If somebody else you know was injured in the same accident as you, they should also contact us to see what compensation they might be entitled to.
