Injuries can be scary
If you have been involved in an accident which was not your fault, then you will no doubt already know that injuries can be exceptionally frightening, let alone potentially painful and debilitating.
If you have suffered any form of injuries caused by someone else as a result of an accident which was not your fault, then you ought to speak to one of Accident Advice Helpline’s advisers today. We can tell you straight away if your injuries are serious enough to warrant you making a claim for compensation against the person responsible for your accident.
Take the test
In fact, if you take our 30-second test we can tell you almost immediately not only if you qualify to make a claim for the injuries caused by someone else that you have suffered, but also how much your claim might be worth if you were to win your case.
All we need you to do is answer a few simple questions about your accident. We do not need any specific details at this time, and we can do the rest.
Deadlines for claiming
Once you know that you do qualify to make a clam for your injuries, then you should get in touch with us as quickly as possible to discuss your case in more detail. It is important that you do not waste any time before getting in touch as there are strict deadlines imposed on how long you have to make a claim.
In the vast majority of cases, it is a simple situation whereby you must have initiated a claim within three years of the date of the accident (or from the date by which you should reasonably have known that you had been injured). This does not mean that the case must be settled within that time frame, just that you have made the initial complaint against the person you believe is responsible for your injuries.
Time limits can be extended for minors. If you were under the age of 18 at the time of the accident, you will have the option to either allow someone to make a claim on your behalf within three years of the date of the accident, or you could make a claim in your own right within three years of turning 18. Why not speak to one of our advisers today to discuss which is the best option for you if you are a minor and have been injured?
