    Gedling No Win No Fee

    What goes around, comes around

What goes around, comes around is certainly true when we are talking about stomach and sickness bugs. There are certain times of the year when such illnesses seem to be particularly rife and everywhere you go someone is just recovering from 24 hours of being “indisposed”. If you have children then there is nothing more certain than they are likely to bring a stomach bug home at least once a year.

Generally speaking there is very little you can do about these things. By their very nature they will spread easily and if you are looking after a sick child then, no matter how stringent you are with personal hygiene and anti bacterial wipes, there remains a very high chance that you will also become ill.

However, you do not expect to be exposed to such diseases and germs whilst you are out and about – certainly not at the hands of restaurant or catering staff. If you think your health has been compromised, perhaps as a result of poor hygiene standards then you could be entitled to make a Gedling no win no fee claim.

Who can make a Gedling no win no fee claim?

Anyone who has suffered a personal injury of some description will be legally entitled to make a Gedling no win no fee claim, provided of course that the injury in question was caused by an accident or incident that was not directly their fault.

It may be that you were in a restaurant enjoying a nice family meal out. You place your child in the highchair provided but, unknown to you at the time, it has not been properly cleaned since its last occupant vacated the seat. Perhaps the previous child had been sick whilst in the chair, and if the chair had not been suitably cleaned and sanitised, then any associated germs that could pass the sickness bug onto your child would remain.

In such a situation the restaurant would be liable for the illness that later occurs as they did not take the necessary steps to ensure that the chair was appropriately cleaned. Such establishments have a duty of care to ensure that all visitors and paying guests are looked after and everything is done to ensure their health or safety is not put at risk.

Making a Gedling no win no fee claim in such a situation can be difficult, as it will be hard to determine precisely where you came into contact with the illness causing germs. However, here at Accident Advice Helpline we will always do all we can to make sure you get the outcome that you deserve.
