    Eastbourne is a seaside resort in East Sussex. It is located 27 km from Brighton, in England. Found just east of Beachy Head, which is undoubtedly the highest chalk cliff in Great Britain, it forms part of the South Downs National Park.

    There are many hotels on its beachfront, mostly Victorian, it was developed by the Duke of Devonshire, in 1800. There are also a pier, a Napoleonic era fort, and a military museum.
