    East Staffordshire claims

Here at Accident Advice Helpline, we can provide assistance for East Staffordshire claims if you have been involved in an incident which was not your fault and this, in turn, led to an injury occurring.

On this page, we are going to take a brief look at a few of the situations where we may be able to provide representation. Remember, this is not a complete guide but it will certainly give you a quick idea as to the way in which we work.

    Car accidents

Perhaps the most common East Staffordshire claims that we deal with here at Accident Advice Helpline are car accidents. When you are driving, you have a duty of care towards other road users. This means that it is your responsibility to drive in a manner which ensures that other people are not put at risk.

If you breach this duty of care, whether intentionally or not, and this, in turn, leads to an injury occurring in another person, you could be said to have breached this duty of care and you may need to pay compensation. At Accident Advice Helpline, we will help the impacted party claim compensation. Some of the incidents where we have successfully assisted people include:

    • Incidents caused when a pedestrian has been impacted by a driver. Quite often, the pedestrian will have the right of way, perhaps they were walking on a pavement or, perhaps, over a zebra crossing.
    • Incidents caused by the driver of a vehicle not paying attention to the road. Very often, this will be down to the driver of the vehicle taking their eyes away from the road for a brief moment. It may also, for instance, including speeding or driving through a red light.

    Injuries in the workplace

We are also able to provide representation for those who may have been injured in the workplace. Your employer, obviously, has a duty of care towards you. This duty of care is there to ensure that you are safe in the workplace. This duty of care will be there to provide coverage against injuries due to incorrect safety training, slips, trips, falls from height, or injuries caused by poor quality safety equipment.

    Injuries in public locations

We are also able to provide representation for claims related to injuries in public locations. This may, for instance, include injuries suffered by slips, trips and falls in a supermarket. Or maybe, an injury caused by a person slipping on a loose paving slab in East Staffordshire. We will help you to determine whether you have a claim.
