Trying to protect yourself from poor workmen

    • If you need any work done involving gas, make sure they are properly registered. Don’t take their work for it.
    • Local councils often have a record of reputable workmen if you ask for one.
    • Ask friends and neighbours if they know of anyone who can do the work for you. If they’ve used someone they’re happy with, they’ll gladly recommend them.
    • Don’t expect too much. If a workman is an experienced electrician, it doesn’t follow that he’ll be able to do your plumbing too. Be reasonable with your requests.
    • Look for any reviews of the company. If there are bad reviews for the type of work you want done, don’t use them.
