You might think that Dear Esther advice is all about an agony aunt’s column, but you would, in this case, be at least partially wrong. In this context, Dear Esther advice is all about making a personal injury compensation claim. Dame Esther Rantzen is our patron, and we are Accident Advice Helpline. Many people send us emails in which the subject box contains the phrase Dear Esther advice please.
We are a law firm which has been handling personal injury compensation claims for more than a decade. We have a team of in-house solicitors who are all experts in pursuing compensation, while keeping the who;e process as stress free and efficient for you as they can. This is why people write to us for advice, so in one way, we could be an agony aunt advice column called Dear Esther advice.
Accidents and personal injury compensation claims
If you or another person you know well has been injured in an accident that was caused by someone else and negligence on their part, then there might be grounds for filing a personal injury compensation claim.
You have to make a claim within three years of the date of your accident or within the same period if you have been diagnosed with a work-related illness or an occupational disease. You can claim for illnesses or injuries that needed medical attention.
No one can predict with accuracy the amount of compensation you might be awarded for your injury or illness but you can get an estimate if you take our 30-second test. Please remember though that it is only an estimate. All accidents are unique and happen under different circumstances which can affect the amount you receive.
