"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    Darlington accident claims helpline

If you have been injured in an accident that was caused by the negligence of another, you could be entitled to compensation. If you call our Darlington accident claims helpline, the team here at Accident Advice Helpline could help you to right the wrongs and claim the money you need to get your life back on track after being injured.

Being involved in an accident that results in an injury can be a life changing experience. You should not let the people responsible get away with it. By starting a compensation claim, you can send them a very clear message that their negligent behaviour is not on and that they should rectify the problem as soon as possible.

    Who can I claim from?

You can file a compensation claim against anyone who has a duty of care towards you. This could be an employer, a product manufacturer, a local council, or a vehicle driver, for example. Although it is these people who are responsible for your injuries, it is actually their insurance companies who will pay you any compensation that you are awarded.

    What can I claim for?

You can claim for an accident that was not your fault, which resulted in an injury to your person. However, you will need to be able to back up your claims with evidence as to who was to blame for your accident, and proof of the injuries you sustained, from a professional source, such as your doctor.

    Time limit

There is a three year time limit on making a personal injury claim, which means that you need to have, at the very least, started your claim within three years to the day from the date of your injury.
