"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

Cost of a solicitor in Merseyside

If you’ve been involved in an accident that was not your fault, you may be thinking about making a claim for compensation. If, as in most cases, you can prove that the accident wasn’t your fault, the process should be simple and straightforward. Gathering enough evidence to prove your story may mean you even avoid going to court.

Call Accident Advice Helpline and the process will be even simpler – we handle the vast majority of our cases over the phone. You can start your claim today by calling us, and we’ll talk you through the entire process and help you gather any evidence you might need to prove your case – without you needing to worry about the cost of a solicitor in Merseyside either, as all our cases are handled on a no-win, no-fee basis. If necessary, we’ll also arrange an independent medical assessment to help you document your injuries.

Evidence you may need to get started with a claim

If you’ve had an accident in the workplace, the first thing you’ll need to do is prove that you weren’t at fault for what happened to you. This means your employer, or another employee, must have admitted responsibility or you can prove they were at fault. Any compensation you win will be paid out of your employer’s liability insurance. You may also want to get the names and details of any colleagues or other people who witnessed the accident.

You’ll also need medical records to prove that your injuries came about as a direct result of the accident, which is easy enough provided you’ve received some sort of medical attention. If you visited a hospital or doctor, you can request the records as proof for your case.

If you have incurred out of pocket medical expenses, you may also want to keep receipts of prescriptions etc as this money can be recovered on top of your compensation.
