    Compensation solicitors in South Wales

Making a claim for compensation is easier if you work with experienced compensation solicitors in South Wales who can work on your behalf and give you the information you need to make a successful claim. To find the best possible solicitors to handle your claim, you need to know a little more about the claims process, what you are actually asking these solicitors to do for you and what they can actually do to get you the compensation that you deserve. Here is some more information about claiming compensation to help you with your search.

Work out if you have a good case

In some cases it may not be immediately obvious whether or not you have a good case for a claim. You will need to have evidence that whatever happened in your accident was not your fault, and that you sustained serious injuries as a result of it. You will also need to have proof that you have made losses as a result of your accident if you want to make a claim for expenses as well as compensation for your injuries.

You can check to see if you have a valid claim by completing the 30 second test on our website. If you do, it will also give you an estimate of how much your compensation could be,

    Gather evidence

You will need to gather as much evidence as you can to prove your case, and if you don’t have enough of this then you may have to accept that you don’t have a good enough case for a claim. Evidence includes a medical certificate, proving that you were injured, a police report if you had a road accident which was someone else’s fault, witness statements and even photographs of the scene and of your injuries. Even things that seem trivial can prove to be more useful than you may think as part of your evidence, so make sure you let the advisor you speak to know all about it.

    Work quickly

If you want your claim to be successful then you need to move quickly so that your evidence is still fresh and you have plenty of time to get the claim processed. You have up to three years to get your claim filed, but you should always get started as early as possible.
