    Here’s the story of one claimant:

    How did your personal injury occur?

    I was on my way to work, it was around 8.30am. As I was driving BANG! A car hit the passenger side. It had gone through a red light at some speed. My car being a small Citron Saxo and the other person’s car being a larger VW Passat meant that the impact had caused the car to be pushed along the road.

    Luckily I was wearing my seatbelt otherwise I would have been thrown through the window. I did however bang my head and shoulder on the driver side window and suffered whiplash.

    What happened next?

    Luckily quite a few people stopped to help. I was unable to get out of the car at first. Somebody had called the police and ambulance. The police made both me and the other driver take a breathalyser test (off course I hadn’t been drinking!). Though I was in a daze I remembered taking down the details of the witnesses that had been kind enough to stop and help. I was also given an incident number from the police. I was then taken to Accident and Emergency.

    What injuries did you suffer?

    I had whiplash. I also had bruised my chest and there was muscular damage around my shoulder and neck. The full impact of my injuries I didn’t feel until a few days after. I had nerve pain all the way down my right arm. I also suffered from severe headaches.

    How did you find out that accident management companies claims compensation on your behalf?
