Claiming after a car crash in Boston

Here at Accident Advice Helpline, we are well-known for our ability to provide assistance to those who may be looking into the idea of claiming after a car crash in Boston. On this page, we are going to take a little look at a few of the things that you will need to think about before you give us a call.

    Can you make a claim?

Not everybody who is injured in a car accident will be able to start the process of claiming after a car crash in Boston. Here at Accident Advice Helpline we, unfortunately, have to be very selective when it comes to the type of case that we take on. If you wish to work with our team here, you need to be sure that your case meets the following three guidelines:

    • The incident must have occurred within the last three years.
    • The incident must have been the fault of another person.
    • You must have been injured.

If you are unsure as to whether we can help you out, please do not hesitate to give us a call.

Do you have a medical report?

At Accident Advice Helpline, we will not require much in the way of evidence from you. In fact, as long as you are able to prove the points highlighted above, the amount of evidence that you will need is fairly minimal. However, there is one piece of evidence which is an absolute necessity if you are looking to claim compensation. This is the medical report.

The purpose of the medical report, which you will need to obtain directly from the hospital or doctor which treats you for your injuries, will be to determine the extent of your injuries. Not only will the medical report be used to show the defending party that you were injured in the incident, but we will also use it to determine how much compensation you may be entitled to.

    What else do you need?

If you have it, we are going to require the police report from you. In addition to this, a witness statement is important as we need to know what actually happened in the incident. The other evidence that will be required will be based upon the complexity of the case. If our team of experienced lawyers require anything additional from you, we will give you a call. We will aim to keep you up to date with the case every step of the way!
