If you find yourself in a position where you are wanting to start claiming after a car crash in Mid Sussex then you have come to the right place.  Here at Accident Advice Helpline we have over 15 years’ experience in helping people to get the financial compensation they are entitled to after they have been injured in accidents that they did not cause.  This means that we can help you too.

Start claiming after a car crash in Mid Sussex now

The first thing you need to do if you want to start any form of a financial compensation claim for a personal injury is find out whether or not you are eligible to do so.  Simply being involved in an accident is not always enough – there are other conditions that need to be met.

For example, the accident should not have occurred more than three years ago. This is important because it is the time limit put down in law to allow you to commence your claim. However, if you were a minor at the time of your accident then you will still be able to claim, even if your accident happened more than three years ago.  If you are unsure of where you stand in regards to this then just contact us on 0800 689 0500 from a landline to find out more (or you can call 0333 500 0993 from a mobile if you prefer).

We will also need to look at the extent of your injuries.  While your injuries do not need to have been life threatening to entitle you to make a claim, they do have to have had some sort of impact on you.  This will mean that you had to seek medical attention after your accident, and that you have been affected in some way. It could be that you had to take time off work (whether that is a day or longer) or that you have had to have surgery.

Finally, whether or not you were responsible for your accident is also important.  You will have to be able to demonstrate that you were not to blame, otherwise you will not be able to make your claim.
