Two motorists killed in RTAs in Scotland in early November 2014
There is unfortunately no shortage of RTAs, not only here in Cumbernauld, but all over the UK. Only in the last week, (early November 2014), two drivers were killed in separate incidents in Scotland.
Fatal RTA in Edinburgh
A 24-year-old man was fatally injured in a collision involving a Hyundai and a Subaru. The accident happened in Old Dalkeith Road, Edinburgh. The driver of the Hyundai was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. Two passengers travelling in the Hyundai were also taken to hospital where they were treated for their injuries.
Fatal RTA in East Kilbride
In a totally separate incident, another motorist, driving a Nissan Qashqai, was killed in East Kilbride when his car careered off the carriageway, and collided with trees beside the road. He died at the scene.
