"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    Broken wrist

Ever tried playing tennis with a broken wrist? That probably would not be very practical, and the chances of you winning many matches would be minimal. In fact, most things are more difficult with a broken wrist and certainly none are easier.

However, you managed to end up with a broken wrist, if it wasn’t your fault, then you may be able to get help from a no win no fee* lawyer from Accident Advice Helpline. To qualify for help from a no win no fee* lawyer, then you need to be able to show that the accident that you were involved in, where you earned your broken wrist, was not your fault.

    Keep records of everything

Records of the accident should be kept such as photographs, witness statements, accident report books (if the accident happened at work, for example), doctors notes… As you can see, there are a few ways that you can help us to help you.

Additionally, there are three key points that need to be kept in mind in order for you to qualify.

    1. The accident, as mentioned, must not be your fault
    2. Advice or attention from a medical professional must have been sought – doctors notes obtained these will be a great boost to your claim
    3. Any gap between the accident that caused your broken wrist, and the date of your claim can not be any longer than three years

As long as you can place ticks next to those three points, you should have a good chance of qualifying for help using the ‘no win no fee*’ system.

To further help your cause, and to maximise the amount that you could receive, you should keep receipts of all ‘out of pocket’ expenses such as bus tickets for hospital visits, medication that you have to pay for… Try to keep originals if you can, rather than copies.

Giving us a ring on our free to call number, at the top of this screen, is the quickest way to get in touch with us but you do have other options open to you.
