What advice are you looking for? If it’s claims advice after a car accident in King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, you’ve come to the right place. Accident Advice Helpline is one of the largest law firms in the country, and has more than 15 years’ experience of helping people to claim compensation for all kinds of accidents, including road traffic accidents.

Who is entitled to claims advice after a car accident in King’s Lynn and West Norfolk?

For a car accident, or any accident, for that matter, to lead to a claim, there are certain conditions that must be fulfilled.

Firstly, the accident must be someone else’s fault. In the case of a car accident, this is likely to be the other driver involved.

Secondly, the accident must have led to injury. This injury has to be confirmed by a doctor.

Thirdly, the injury must have been suffered within the past three years. This time limit can be extended, though, in cases where the claimant was a minor at the time of the accident.

You will note that severity is not mentioned as part of the second condition. That’s because you can claim for any injury that has affected you, provided there is evidence of it. A claim for whiplash would be just as valid as a claim for a brain injury.

How much compensation is awarded to car accident victims?

The exact amount of compensation that you receive will depend on several factors, including the severity of your injury, the effect the injury has had on your life, and the amount of money you have lost because of being off work and incurring expenses (e.g. for home helps or taxi fares to hospital appointments).

Because of this, it’s not possible to tell you how much you will get if you win your case. However, it is possible to get an estimate of what you could be awarded, and eligible claimants can get that estimate by taking the 30 second test on our website or calling our hotline and speaking to an advisor.

How do you contact an advisor?

Pick up your landline phone and dial 0800 689 0500, or, if you’re a mobile user, call us on 0333 500 0993.

When your call is answered, tell the advisor what happened, and they will take some details from you. If you qualify to claim, and wish to proceed, your case will be handled by one of our team of solicitors. They will work on a no win no fee* basis for you, too.
