Q: What sort of injury can I claim for? I only sprained my wrist in a fall in a supermarket, but I’m a masseuse and ended up taking four weeks off of work.
A: You can claim for any injury OR illness, physical or psychological. Happily your injury doesn’t sound too serious, but as you have discovered, even a minor injury like a sprain can have knock-on effects, which is why you are still entitled to compensation.
Q: I was injured in a work accident in Pembrokeshire, can you help me?
A: Yes we can. Wherever your accident took place, if it happened because of someone else’s negligence or carelessness, then we can help you claim compensation for your injury, and any inconvenience/ financial losses your accident may have caused you.
Q: My accident in Pembrokeshire happened about two years ago. I wasn’t going to claim but my injury is still giving me problems. Can I still claim?
A: Yes! You have three years from the date of your accident in which to file a claim for compensation with a solicitor.
Q: I broke my leg because I was hit by a car. How much compensation will I get?
A: It certainly sounds as though you qualify for compensation, but how much you are awarded will depend on the extent of your injury and the consequences it had on your life. If you had to take time off from work for example, you can be compensated for lost earnings. Other common costs people claim for include child care costs, travel expenses and missed holidays/ events.
Q: Do your lawyers work for ‘no win, no fee’?
A: All our lawyers work under a no win no fee agreement. We are here precisely because accident victims no longer receive legal aid for personal injury claims, and we know that many people may be deterred from claiming compensation if they have to pay upfront legal fees, especially if their finances are already stretched because they’ve had to take time off work to recover from their injuries.
And because of the no win no fee contract, our customers are confident that their solicitor is working their hardest to get them their compensation, because if a claim is unsuccessful then our solicitors don’t get paid.
