"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    North Norfolk accident

If you have had a North Norfolk accident then Accident Advice Helpline may be able to help you claim thousands of pounds in compensation.

A North Norfolk accident could occur for any number of reasons and in any number of locations. It doesn’t matter to us whether you have been injured whilst at work, on the road to work, cycling home from work, on holiday from work or whilst shopping whilst taking time off from work. All that we care about is that you can demonstrate the three following points:

    1. The accident you have had was not your fault
    2. The accident occurred within the last three years
    3. You were injured as a result of the accident

    Not your fault

It is important for Accident Advice Helpline to know that the North Norfolk accident you have been involved in was not your fault. This is because in order to make a claim for compensation you have to be able to make a claim against someone. This someone is often the person who is regarded as being liable for the accident (or in some cases, their insurance provider).

If the accident was your fault, then you cannot make a claim as you cannot possibly sue yourself.

    Tell us what happened

When you speak to our solicitors they will discuss the situation surrounding your accident and find out why you think the accident was someone else’s fault. They will then be able to establish who is likely to be regarded as being at fault for the accident, and why.

    Recent accident

For legal reasons, you can only make a claim against someone for a North Norfolk accident  which occurred within the last three years. So long as the claim has been initiated within the three years following the accident, it doesn’t matter if the case is still ongoing by the time three years has passed.

There are some instances in which you may be able to extend this time period, for example, if you were a minor at the time of the accident and have chosen to wait until you are of a legal age to make a claim yourself (in which case you have three years from the date of your 18th Birthday), or if you have been diagnosed with an industrial disease.

As industrial diseases are often caused as a result of exposure to various hazards within the work place, which could have occurred at any point and time, it is often impossible to pin point precisely when the disease or condition first presented itself. As a result, you will have three years after the date of diagnosis to make a claim.

    Personal injury

In order to qualify to make a claim you must have suffered an injury after your North Norfolk accident . This injury could be physical, or may be mental or emotional.
