    Accident damages

At Accident Advice Helpline we spend all day every day dealing with individuals who are suffering from accident damages.

    What are accident damages?

What are accident damages I hear you ask? Well this is the term used for any damage that you have suffered as a direct result of an accident. Damages are usually grouped into three different categories:

    • Physical damages – This is any damage that has caused you physical pain or suffering.  Physical accident damages are any injuries that you have sustained as a direct result of an accident.  This could be anything from cuts and bruises to severe injuries such as loss of limbs or complicated head injuries.
    • Emotional damages – This is any type of emotional or mental distress that has been caused as a direct result of your accident.  This can range from fear or mood swings to depression.
    • Financial damages – This is used to describe any financial problems that your accident has caused such as loss of earnings due to time off work or perhaps expenses you have had to pay for medical treatment.

    Some good news

So if you have been in an accident and have suffered damages then don’t worry because there is some good news.  The good news is you could be entitled to make a compensation claim for these damages.

If you have been injured or hurt or suffered in any of the ways outlined above in an accident that was not your own fault and this happened in the last three years then you may be wondering what to do next.

You may have little experience of legal matters and be wary of such proceedings, and be worried or nervous seeking accident claims advice.
