    The weirdest personal injury claims

    The weirdest personal injury claims

Whether it’s serious road traffic accidents, debilitating accidents at work, or painful slips, trips and falls in public, there are any number of ways you can suffer personal injury claims.

The experts at Accident Advice Helpline have over 13 years experience in dealing with personal injury claims, and are able to offer assistance and guidance every step of the way should you wish to claim for accident compensation.

As the following list will testify, it’s not always the obvious personal injury claims that lead to personal injury compensation.

In Stockport in 2006, a horse owner was tending to their own animal in shared stables when another horse suddenly jumped forward and bit them, taking a chunk out of their lip.

The horses bad temper was the result of not being looked after properly. It was rarely walked, and kept cooped up inside.

Still in Stockport, but as recent as 2012, a woman trying on clothes in a shop suffered a serious cut on her big toe when a security tag came off the item and impaled her with the pin. The tag had not been fastened securely, leading to this painful accident in public.

In Kent in 2011, a bizarre road accident led to one of the oddest personal injury claims. A man had let the roof down on his car because of the hot weather, and was queuing in traffic when a cement mixer pulled out of a building site and spilt some of it’s load over both the client and the car, which was subsequently written off.

Accident and injury claims do not always come from professionals. For example, before the turn of the millennium a minor was involved in a terrible mix up at the dentist. Due to having the same name as another patient, the youngster suffered the agony of having four perfectly good teeth removed.

From the young, to the old, an unfortunate pensioner who suffered a serious public accident when his mobility scooter randomly caught fire and had to be dragged free from the engulfing flames by heroic passers by.

If you suffer a personal injury, no matter how strange it might seem, Accident Advice Helpline can offer guidance on the strength of your personal injury claims and chances of success. There is no obligation to continue after initial consultation, but if you do, they work on a no win, no fee basis.
