    Water well accident claim

If you want to make a water well accident claim contact Accident Advice Helpline. We have years of experience in helping individuals with their personal injury claims and no matter how unusual you may think your claim is we will be able to offer advice.

Around one per cent of the population of England and Wales have no connection to the main water supplies. Instead they rely on private water supplies, which may supply a single property or multiple properties. Private water supplies are more commonly found in remote rural areas, but this is not always the case. A private water supply might well come from a well in a garden near an isolated house.

The main hazard with wells is people falling down a disused one that has not been properly covered or signed. If a well is very deep, anyone who falls into it will suffer serious injuries and might even be killed. If the well is not regularly inspected an individual could remain down the well for a considerable length of time before being found.
