"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    Volleyball accident counselling

If you have been seriously injured and suffered mental trauma following a sports-related accident, you may have been recommended volleyball accident counselling by a health care professional. If you are worried about how to fund counselling sessions and believe that a third party was to blame for the initial injuries you suffered, you may be within your rights to pursue a claim. Accident Advice Helpline can assist you in recovering the costs of mental health treatment by making a compensation claim on your behalf. Our expert solicitors could get you a package that will secure your financial future and ease your worries about debts and medical bills.

    Claim eligibility

You can claim for the costs of counselling if your serious injury occurred during the last three years and the accident was no fault of your own. You must also have received medical treatment for that injury. We have a free, 24-hour helpline with trained advisors waiting to answer any question about the claims process if you are unsure about your eligibility. We may have to ask for some details about your injury but we are always discreet and compassionate. If you just want advice, there is no obligation to start a claim for compensation. You can proceed at your own pace so just let us know if you would like to take your claim a step further. We will also provide you with an estimate of your likely compensation.

    Private treatment

If you want to start counselling immediately then you may be disappointed with the waiting lists on the NHS that could leave you without the treatment you need for up to six months. Private counselling could be the answer although the costs can be difficult to manage over the long term. Accident Advice Helpline is here if you need to recoup the fees spent on private sessions. While we cannot refer you to a counsellor directly, we can help you to pay for counselling through a personal injury compensation claim.

    Volleyball injuries

Volleyball can be a dangerous sport if you fall awkwardly or are made to play on an inadequate surface. The mental trauma of a fractured leg or an injury brought about by an aggressive opponent can have a lasting impact even when your physical injuries have healed. Our expert lawyers have experience in making claims against opponents, players, match officials and organisers of sports events so you can be sure that we will build a successful case for you.

If you have been assessed as needing counselling, you can make a compensation claim for counselling fees provided you have evidence to support this assessment. This evidence will come in the form of medical documents from a professional such as your doctor. If additional information is needed then you may be asked to undergo an independent assessment and we can set this up for you if required.

    Open Claim Calculator

You can start your counselling claim today by calling 0800 180 1423 from a land line or by texting claim365 to 88010. If it is out of hours, leave your details and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
