    Responsibility

    The producers of a TV show must ensure that all staff and participants are safe. If you are taking part in an entertainment show where activities are central to the program, then procedures must be put in place to prevent accidents from occurring. For example, staff at the location where the show is being filmed must check surfaces for spillages or other dangers and make sure that any supplied equipment is well maintained. The premises must also be fit for purpose. For example, you could make a no win, no fee claim if you sustained a head injury after being hit by a loose piece of material. You may also be owed money if you are a cameraman and you fell from a structure that was not safe and broke your back or a limb.

    Making a claim

    There is a three-year deadline for all personal injury claims. You must also have received some sort of medical treatment from staff at the scene or at a hospital following the accident. A claim will benefit you and your family in many ways. It can supplement your income if you have been forced to take an absence of leave due to your injuries.
