Have you tripped at an art gallery?

Art galleries can be wonderful places to visit. They are all quite varied with no two of them ever quite the same. Some have masterpieces hanging on display, whereas others have modern artwork that is very different from the pieces painted many centuries ago. Most visitors will have a wonderful time when visiting a gallery of this kind. It is uncommon to come across a situation where someone has tripped at an art gallery.

With that said, slips, trips and falls can occur wherever you go. You may well have been at a public venue of some sort at one point and seen someone trip up. It can happen quite easily. Sometimes we are the ones to blame, but in other cases a trip could potentially be made simply because not enough care was taken to prevent such an incident happening.

Tripping up a flight of stairs or on floors

All kinds of things could potentially happen to cause someone to trip in an art gallery. Fortunately, few of them ever actually come to fruition. This is mainly because the people in charge of health and safety at the venue will have to perform risk assessments to identify hazards just like the ones that can cause someone to trip.

For instance, an unexpected change in floor levels or uneven stairs could both be deemed to be potentially hazardous. Another possible example might be a sign on a base that sticks out, making it very difficult to see it. Wires or cables that are left trailing across the floor could also present a trip hazard to anyone walking in the area at the time.

    Taking the necessary steps
