    Tiler accident claim

At Accident Advice Helpline, we are here for you if you need to make a tiler accident claim. Do not lose out financially because of an accident that was not your fault. Call us today.

    Tiler injuries

Working as a tiler involves some risks of injury. These can include lacerations from the tools, back injuries from carrying heavy loads and skin or eye irritation from the adhesives and grouts that you use.

It is the responsibility of your employer to minimise the risk of injury by ensuring that all tools you use are in good working order and that everyone has the correct training and supervision to use them. They should also have guidelines as too how much weight you should be lifting and make sure that everyone is aware of these guidelines. Protective clothing should be provided to prevent adhesives from coming into contact with your skin or eyes.

If your employer does not protect you from the risks, they may be considered negligent in the event of an accident.

    Claiming compensation

Accident Advice Helpline was founded in 2000 with a clear aim. We want to make sure that anyone who was injured in an accident that was caused by the negligence of others can feel able to make a personal injury claim.

We understand that the thought of a complicated legal process can be daunting, especially at a time when you need to focus on recovering from your injuries. If you call us, you will work only with sympathetic professionals who have many years of experience in helping people with their personal injury claims. We believe that you will be surprised by how straightforward the process can be. Consultations can be held by phone or email, so you do not have to travel and often claims are settled without going to court.

What to do after an accident

The most important thing to do is to consult a doctor about your injuries. With the correct treatment, you will hopefully be back tiling soon. If you need to make a personal injury claim, medical records of your injuries will be used as evidence.

Record as much as you can remember about the accident and note down the names and contact details of any witnesses. Your lawyer may need to speak to them. If possible, take a photo of the hazard that caused your injury. This is becoming much easier to do now that most mobile phones have cameras.

As soon as you feel ready, call us. Claims must be started within three years of your accident. When you call our free helpline, your first contact will be with one of our trained advisors. They are always happy to answer any questions you have about making a tiler accident claim.

    Making a claim

Our advisors will need to ask you a few questions to determine if you are eligible for compensation. To proceed with a claim, your details will be passed to one of our large team of expert lawyers who specialise in your injury type and who will be committed to gaining you the maximum compensation. You can feel confident that your claim will be in safe hands.

You can reach us by dialling 0800 689 0500 from your land line, or 0333 500 0993 from your mobile.
