    Ticket office accident counselling

Your doctor might have advised you that you need ticket office accident counselling. If this is the case, we advise you to ensure that you receive it as soon as possible. Counselling might be essential to help you to get over the trauma of the accident so that you can get your life back to normal. Accident Advice Helpline can assist you with this. Without counselling, you could find that life never seems to get back to normal and you could find yourself struggling to return to work.

Sourcing counselling is quite hard if you are relying on the NHS. It does depend a great deal on where you live, but NHS waiting lists can be a roadblock to getting the treatment that you want. In some cases, counselling could be available immediately. Although for others, it could mean a wait of a few weeks or even months. Getting around this is your next step, as your recovery has to be the priority at this stage.

    How do I get counselling?

The most obvious option is for you to get a counsellor privately. If this sounds like it is going to be expensive, it’s because it is. We feel that paying for this treatment yourself is very unfair when the accident that caused your injury was not your fault. However, this does mean that you can speed up the process and keep your recovery on track.

The solution here is to consider the possibility of making a personal injury claim. Taking legal action means that the cost of your ticket office accident counselling could be recouped if you are awarded financial compensation. This will also cover things like loss of earnings or other expenses that are related to your accident.

I’m not sure about legal action

This is a normal reaction – the thought of taking legal action can be daunting and not everybody wants to go through this process. However, we do recommend that you take the time to find out more about it. Accident Advice Helpline has a team of advisors on hand to answer your questions and to help you to figure out if this a route that you want to take. All you have to do is call the free, 24-hour helpline and we will go through all of the details with you to make sure that this is something that could work for you.
