    Starting your claim with Accident Advice Helpline is a lot easier than you might think. You won’t have to fill in endless forms or cope with complex legal paperwork. You won’t even need to have money. Just pick up the phone and give us a call – it’s free!

    When you telephone us, our highly trained advisors will be ready to give you instant advice. Usually they will be able to tell you straight away whether or not your claim is legally valid. They will also be able to tell you how much it’s likely to be worth, making it easier for you to decide whether or not it’s worth claiming. Calling us doesn’t entail any obligation.

    Claims for compensation are normally only valid within three years of the accident occurring although there are some exceptions to this, such as when the claimant is a child at the time of the accident, so if you’re at all uncertain it’s worth calling us anyway. You should be aware that you will need medical confirmation of your injuries – often a note from your doctor will be sufficient and, if you need a further assessment, we can help to arrange it.

    Working with a solicitor

    Working with a solicitor doesn’t have to be complicated. We aim to keep things as straightforward as possible because the last thing we want to do is add to your worries at an already difficult time. We’ll keep things like travel to a minimum. Any documents you need to sign can normally be delivered by courier, and you’ll be able to discuss your case with your solicitor by phone or email. All the solicitors we work with are friendly and sympathetic – they too understand how tough things can be for accident victims.
