"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    Sports coach accident counselling

If you are struggling with the mental trauma of a serious accident, then a sports coach accident counselling claim could help you to get the treatment you need. Your doctor will recommend counselling to you if they believe that it will aid your recovery.

Accident Advice Helpline can cover the costs of your counselling sessions by claiming against the third party that was at fault for your injuries. If you were injured during the last three years, then you may be able to claim today. To confirm your eligibility, call us for free on 0800 689 0500.

    Accessing counselling

Sports coaches take part in physical activities on a daily basis. Whether you are coaching a young rugby team, or a female netball team, you will always be active during the sessions. This can expose you to the risk of injury if health and safety measures at the premises or stadium are not adhered to.

You may have broken a leg after falling on a pitch that had not been maintained properly, or slipped and suffered a concussion while running on an athletics track. The psychological impact of these injuries can be devastating. If you have been struggling to recover after an accident, then counselling may be the help you need.

Only a doctor can recommend to you that you need counselling. If you think that it can help, then you can ask for their opinion, but you can only file a claim for counselling if your doctor has indeed recommended it. We are personal injury specialists, so we cannot refer you to a counselor or provide counselling ourselves.

What we can do is provide a means of funding counselling through a personal injury compensation claim. The amount you can expect in compensation will depend on how long you need treatment for. If you are claiming for general damages as well, how the injuries have affected you personally will also be factored into the compensation claim.

    Compensation

A counselling claim can cover all the costs that you have spent or are intending to spend on counselling. This ranges from the sessions themselves to travel expenses and prescription costs. Private sessions will provide you with access to treatment straight away, as NHS waiting lists are often very long. These sessions can become costly if you need more than a few to aid your recovery, so a claim is the best way of funding your counselling costs.

If you have already started counselling, then you should keep medical notes and receipts in order to prove how much you have paid. This will also enable us to maximise your compensation and reduce the time in which you get the money owed to you. We also use medical diagnosis documents from your doctor and other financial documents if your injuries have affected your earnings potential.

Making a no win, no fee claim could be what you need to brighten your future, so use our free 24-hour helpline to express your interest. Our friendly advisors are available to answer any questions you may have, and will match you with a solicitor if your claim is eligible.
