Slipping at a hotel swimming pool advice

If you have suffered an injury after slipping at a hotel swimming pool, advice is just a phone call away. Accident Advice Helpline is a team of expert lawyers who are available 24 hours a day to help you with your questions and offer advice on how to make a claim.  Of course, if you have taken out holiday insurance you may be able to make a claim through your chosen insurance company.  If you are unsure, however, Accident Advice Helpline will be able to guide you through the process.

    What is Accident Advice Helpline?

Accident Advice Helpline is a personal injury law firm with over a decade of experience, making them one of the most expert personal injury law firms operating at the moment.  We offer a comprehensive service to our clients, so if you need help with a claim, we handle all of the paperwork and deal with all the behind the scenes administration in order that you, the client, do not need to worry.  We will keep you informed of the status of your claim every step of the way.

    Making your claim

If you have received an injury after slipping at a hotel swimming pool, you should first report the incident to the hotel manager.  The accident report book should be filled out as soon as possible after the incident so that the details are still fresh in your memory.  Take a copy of the report home with you too, as you might need it for your compensation claim.  In the case of a slip or fall, there may be no need to involve the police, but in the case of a serious incident, it is a good idea to also report it to them.  A police investigation could help with a claim where gross negligence is a factor.

The hotel has to prove that it has taken all reasonable precautions to ensure guest safety around the pool area.  This could be done in any number of ways, such as leaving ‘Wet Floor’ notices by the pool, or having a lifeguard on duty at all times.  It is also a good idea, if possible, to take photographs of the area where the accident occurred, as soon as the accident happens.  This makes it easier for the injured party to prove that such precautions were not being taken at the time of the accident.

Involving Accident Advice Helpline could not be easier.  It just involves a simple telephone call.  We will take all your details and advise you on the best course of action in order to proceed with your claim.  We take all of the stress and worry out of it for you by liaising with all of the parties involved, collating the information and processing the claim.  It is important to point out that there may be fees payable from any compensation amount awarded to you, but we work on a no win, no fee* basis.
