"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    Plumber accident advice

Accident Advice Helpline assists with all sorts of different compensation cases and is well placed to provide plumber accident advice. You can call us whenever it’s convenient, day or night, even at the weekends. We’ll talk through your situation with you and help you to understand your legal options. In most cases we can let you know straight away whether or not your case is legitimate, and often we can provide an estimate of how much it is worth.

Calling us is free no matter what you decide to do. We won’t put any pressure on you as we realise that you may feel disorientated after your accident and need time to think things through. You should be aware, however, that the usual legal limit for making compensation claims is three years. In addition to this, we won’t be able to help you if you didn’t see a doctor about your injuries shortly after your accident. This is because it is necessary to have a proper medical record of what happened to you.

    Your safety at work

If you work for an employer, that employer has certain duties as far as your health and safety is concerned. This includes ensuring that you are properly trained and equipped for each job and that you are not pressured into taking on things you simply can’t do, like moving things that are too heavy for you. If you are injured because your employer has neglected these duties, or otherwise placed you at avoidable risk – by leaving trip hazards on the floor of an office you visit to collect assignments, for example – you may be entitled to compensation.

If you are self-employed it’s a good idea to take out comprehensive insurance in case of accidents. There are, however, still situations in which you could claim against the person or organisation that hired you, whether that is a private individual, a company or a local council. Our comprehensive plumber accident advice includes help with working out who is liable in your particular situation.

If you want to make a claim, you will need an appropriately skilled solicitor. At Accident Advice Helpline we have a large nationwide team of expert solicitors to help our clients get the compensation they deserve. We do this on a no win, no fee basis, so there is no need to worry about where you will find the money to get help, and we have designed our whole approach to make things as easy as possible. This includes making sure that you can deal with your solicitor over the phone so you won’t need to cope with lots of extra travel if you are still not feeling too good after what happened to you.
