    PCSO accident counselling

    PCSO accident counselling

Never underestimate the importance of PCSO accident counselling following an incident. Sometimes being injured while working as a PCSO can be traumatic – there are all manner of violent circumstances that are a possibility here and you may need more than a little bit of medical treatment to get over it. If your doctor has determined that you are in need of counselling then you need to make sure that you have it, and the sooner you get it the sooner your recovery will begin to feel more complete.

Counselling, however, is not that easy to come by. The NHS has counselling services, of course, but are they going to be available to you when you need them? You could find yourself waiting for weeks, or even months, and this just pushes your recovery back even further. The alternative is to pay for PCSO accident counselling yourself. It should be noted that this is costly and we do not believe that you should have to pay for this. If the accident has happened while you are working, your employer’s liability insurance should be able to cover the costs you incur as a direct result of the accident.
