"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

Do I need any money to start my claim?

Admittedly legal advice and assistance can be very expensive. The services that are offered can be very advantageous to people who use them. Although hiring a solicitor can be very beneficial, the potential cost of using them can put a lot of people off. This is very unfortunate because there are times when a solicitor’s services can be absolutely essential. This is particularly so when making a claim for personal injury. Instead of going ahead and seeking professional assistance, you may well be left wondering: “Do I need any money to start my claim?”

To make a claim for personal injury, or any other mishap such as medical negligence, an accident at work, an injury suffered in a road traffic accident, or a trip on a broken pavement, you need to be able to prove that you were not to blame. To make a claim you also need to be able to identify and prove that someone else, or a body such as your employer or the local council, was responsible for your injury. The main advantage of using a solicitor, especially one who specialises in such cases, is that he or she will be able to guide you through the process.

Without this type of professional assistance, the whole process of proving that you were not responsible for causing your own injury, and putting together a case for compensation against those who were liable, can be baffling. The fact that you may still be recovering, and wondering how to meet those everyday costs while still off work, could make it difficult for you to compile your own case. That is why legal assistance at such times is so crucial.

While the advantages of using a solicitor to help you with your claim for compensation are obvious, it is of little comfort if you feel that you cannot afford the privilege. There is, however, a solution.

Here at Accident Advice Helpline, our services need not cost you a single penny. It will not cost you any money at all to start your claim. We even offer a legal advice helpline which is free for you to call. What is more, if you win your case we will not ask you for a percentage of your compensation award to cover our fees. You will receive the full amount. That is because we will collect any fees that are owed from the people you made the claim against. Needless to say, if your claim is unsuccessful you will not owe us any fees either.

If we are to represent you on a no win, no fee* basis, we will need to be sure, of course, that you do have a strong enough case to make a claim for compensation. That will be based on what you tell us and the evidence of anyone who witnessed the accident or injury.

Even if we feel that you do not have a sufficiently strong case to make a claim, we will not charge you for our advice. In short, you do not need any money to start your claim or seek initial advice when using our services.
