    Miller accident counselling

Miller accident counselling can help you to come to terms with a traumatic and life-changing accident. If you are struggling to return to work due to permanent injuries or need treatment to ease stress and anxiety then counselling may be the course of action for you. Counselling can only be recommended to you by your doctor. If your GP thinks that it will be helpful then Accident Advice Helpline can fund the counselling you need by making a personal injury compensation claim on your behalf. Ring our free, 24-hour helpline for more advice.

    Precision engineering

Working at a precision engineering firm is not usually dangerous but the machinery and working environment can pose risks on a daily basis. Most of these risks come from the heavy machinery used to create products. Lathes, shapers, planers and drilling machines can cause serious injuries if they are not used properly. It is up to your employer to train you and fellow workers so they know how to operate them. A failure to adhere to health and safety measures could make them liable.

    Common injuries

If you had not been told how to fit a safety guard or secure material properly when working then you may have been struck by sharp objects at a high velocity. Injuries of this type can be permanent and can result in fractured eye sockets, deep wounds and even fatalities depending on the severity of the accident. To minimise the risks, you should also have been wearing overalls, ear protectors, protective footwear and other safety equipment. If your employers did not do this then they may be liable and we can claim against them.

    Medical evidence

We will need medical evidence form you to show that you require counselling supported by financial documents to prove how much the treatment will cost in total. This medical evidence is usually provided by a medical professional but in some circumstances, you may need to be independently assessed. If this is the case, we can arrange it for you. Your assessor will always be compassionate and understanding and will do everything possible to support you, although you will have to answer questions about how and why the accident happened.

    Private treatment

Getting the help you need in the shortest space of time is the most important factor for you to consider. NHS offer counselling but you may have to wait over six months to begin due to the length of waiting lists. Private treatment is better in this regard as you can start almost immediately and select a counsellor that is right for you. If you make a claim with Accident Advice Helpline then you will not need to worry about how much it will all cost. A compensation package will cover the bills and any other damages such as out-of-pocket expenses.
