The Make Roads Safe Campaign is a campaign for road safety across the globe. Every day, thousands of preventable injuries and deaths occur on the world’s roads. The campaign launched in 2006 and has been approved by the UN for a Decade of Action for Road Safety, which will take place from 2011 to 2020. During this time, the Make Roads Safe Campaign will work to ensure that vehicle manufacture, transport planner, politicians and other organisations put road safety first.
Make Roads Safe is a registered charity and is supported by road safety NGOs, motoring organisations and public health bodies, as well as being supported by over one million people across the world who signed their petition.
