M1 Car Crash

The M1 is a north-south motorway standard road in England, which connects London in the south to Leeds in the North where the road joins the A1(M) near Aberford. The M1 was the first inter-urban motorway to be constructed in the UK but was not the first motorway standard road, an achievement which is owned by the Preston bypass that later became known as the M6. The M1 is approximately 193 miles long and due to this large size it was actually constructed in four distinct phases. Most of the road was open by 1968 but there was further extension to the South in 1977 and then to the North as late as 1999.

In the modern day there are still continual proposed and ongoing developments to the road, which now have to be undertaken and completed to the backdrop of keeping one of the busiest roads in the country open. There is little surprise therefore, that on the M1 car crash incidents are unfortunately comparatively commonplace.

M1 Car Crash Incidents

As mentioned above, on the M1 car crash incidents are unfortunately fairly commonplace but in most instances these are mercifully not too serious, however on some occasions more severe accidents and subsequent injuries do happen. In the event of these types of M1 car crash incidents, victims who were not at fault for the incident do have a way in which they can gain recompense for the difficulties which they have suffered.

Claiming Personal Injury Compensation

The law states that if you are injured or fall ill and another party was demonstrably to blame, then you are entitled to seek personal injury compensation. This would clearly apply therefore to an M1 car crash which was caused by another road user, and would be a way in which to gain some measure of recompense for the physical, emotional and financial pain that you have suffered. If you therefore believe that you may be entitled to claim such compensation, then you now need to know who can help you to claim it.
