"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

Look left and right: It could save you a nasty injury

A great deal of injuries by traffic accident is the direct result of drivers failing to see other road users. This makes checking in both directions, left and right, before crossing or entering roads, pulling out of parking spaces, or turning on junctions vitally important.

Road traffic accidents caused by not looking left and right

Looking to the right, left and right again just to make sure it is safe to move is not only important for car or motorcycle drivers, but also for cyclists and pedestrians. All too often, cyclists and pedestrians receive serious injuries in road accidents because they failed to check for vehicles by looking left and right, and stepped out in front of approaching traffic, or because drivers failed to see them for some reason.  Depending on the speed of such vehicles, the injuries resulting from such car crashes can be devastating.

    Driver injury compensation

Whether you were a driver, a passenger in a vehicle, a cyclist or a pedestrian, if you were injured by a car accident caused by another road user, you may be able to claim for compensation. In order to successfully claim car accident compensation, you must initiate the claim process within three years of the incident.

    Uninsured drivers

In spite of the fact that having insurance is compulsory, many drivers fail to carry relevant insurance. This, however, does not leave victims of vehicle accidents involving uninsured drivers out in the cold. It is possible to claim for injury compensation even if the responsible party was not insured at the time of the accident. The only difference here is that the responsible driver will have to pay any awarded compensation out of their own pocket, as opposed to their insurance company making the payment.

    Car accident claims

Claiming for driver or passenger injury compensation is as easy as picking up the phone.
