    Kayaking injury advice

If you have been out on the water kayaking and were injured in an accident, you may now be wondering where you can find kayaking injury advice. Since our establishment in 2000, Accident Advice Helpline has been helping thousands of people every year. We can advise you about your best course of action when it comes to getting the justice you deserve.

Accident Advice Helpline is a legal firm that employs expert solicitors in the field of personal injury law, and each one works on a no-win, no-fee basis. If we think you have a valid claim for compensation, we will assign one of our solicitors to your case, and they will advise you on what options are available to you.

    Kayaking incidents

Kayaking incidents may be relatively rare, but this is not likely to be of much consolation to you if you sustained an injury in one. Kayaking can be invigorating and a great way to socialise with your family or friends. Experiencing the peace and quiet of an open lake, the interest of going down a river or the thrill of sea kayaking can be one of your greatest pleasures. Even if you have been kayaking many times without any problem, you could be injured in many ways when out on the water.

The immediate risks of kayaking include falling in the water, hitting your head on a rock and capsizing the boat. These can be unpleasant enough, but sometimes such incidents can result in severe injuries.

To pursue a claim, the accident must have been the result of someone else’s actions or negligence. You may have been out with other people, or met others on the water coming your way. Ideally, everyone behaves with care and responsibility while out on the water; unfortunately, this may not always be the case. If you hired faulty equipment that led to your accident, then the person who gave you the equipment might be held accountable for your injuries.

If you are unsure about whether or not you can pursue a claim then contact us for advice. Accident Advice Helpline offers advice on different levels. First, you can use our online, free, 30-second claim calculator. This calculator asks a few short questions and then states if you have a potential claim for compensation and what it could be worth. Secondly, you can call us, on 0800 689 0500 or 0333 500 0993, to speak with one of our friendly advisors. The advisor will ask you a set of questions about the nature of your accident and what happened. If he or she thinks you have a valid claim, we will then pass your details on to one of our legal experts. If you wish to pursue a claim, then your solicitor will be available to advise you right up to the point of accepting a compensation package should you be successful.
