    Failed eye surgery advice

If you’re looking for failed eye surgery advice, you’ve come to the right place. Here at Accident Advice Helpline, we regularly deal with medical negligence claims and have access to specialist solicitors with a strong record of success. Whether you want to pursue a case or you just want to discuss your options, we are ready to help.

    Instant advice

There are two ways to get instant advice from Accident Advice Helpline: the first is to use our online medical negligence claims calculator and the second is to give us a call. Our lines are open around the clock, 24/7. Whichever option you choose, you’ll usually be able to work out if your claim is valid and how much money you might be entitled to.

Our advice comes free of charge even if you decide against pursuing a claim. We’ll never put you under any pressure. We’re here to help you understand the issues around your claim and give you further assistance if you decide you want it.

    What you can claim for

You can normally claim for compensation if you have had any surgery within the last few years where the surgeon or other professional staff made a mistake. This includes situations where they failed to do something important. It does not include situations where you were just unlucky, provided that you were properly informed about the risks beforehand. If you are not sure how your situation fits into this, our advisors can help.

In order to make a claim, you will need to have your injuries confirmed by another doctor.  Sometimes it’s sufficient for your GP to do this. However, if you need an independent medical assessment, this can be arranged for you.

    The right solicitor

If you look for a solicitor locally, the chances are that you will have to wait in a queue and then you will end up with somebody with limited experience of medical issues. It may also be expensive. Here at Accident Advice Helpline, we can not only give you failed eye surgery advice, but can also put you in touch with an expert medical negligence solicitor with no need to wait. This can significantly improve your chances of making a successful claim.

It’s in our interests for your claim to be successful, because we don’t get paid if you lose. This means that you don’t need to start out with money in order to claim money.

    Getting a settlement

If your claim is successful, your compensation will normally be paid out of liability insurance, so you won’t be taking away money that is meant for other patients. Any settlement will be designed to compensate you for your suffering, cover your costs, make up for any lost earnings and help you to cope with any lasting problems you have as a result of what went wrong. By claiming, you will draw attention to any procedural problems in your treatment and help to make sure that they don’t happen again.
