    Explorers scout injuries

Boys aged between 14 and 18 can join the Explorers scouts. Explorers provides young individuals with the opportunity to develop and strive for personal goals through exciting activities. Even older teenagers are sometimes unaware of the dangers around them, so health and safety must be prioritised at all times to minimise the chances of a serious accident. This duty falls on the volunteers that supervise Explorer activities. If they were negligent in any way, then you can claim if you or your child suffered minor or serious injuries that affected your daily lives.

The most common accident types we deal with are trips and falls. There is always a danger of trips and falls at Explorers, and the majority of these incidents are accidental and without blame. However, there are times when accidents could have been prevented. For example, if you or your child tripped over a object while playing sports or fell on a dangerous surface and sustained a broken limb, concussion, deep cuts or wounds, a third party may be at fault. You could also claim if you used equipment that was unsafe.

To prove that a third party such as a supervisor did not fulfil their duty of care to you or your child, you will need evidence. Explorers accidents are similar to other personal injuries. You should notify a member of staff at Explorers about the accident and write down all the details of the accident. The more you can remember, the easier it will be for our expert solicitors to maximise compensation. Photographs and witness statements are also recommended.
