    As a parent you probably never stop worrying about your children. More so if you live by a busy road, your children have to navigate a main traffic route on their way to school or even play by a main thoroughfare you are understandably going to worry more.     Whether it’s the danger caused by crossing a road or even when it comes to travelling in cars, the road will always pose a danger to any child. However, there are a few things that you can do towards ensuring your child is safe on the road.

    • Teach them about road safety
    • Always help them cross the road if at all possible
    • If you can’t, ask a friend or responsible adult to accompany them when they are near busy roads
    • If travelling in a car ensure your child uses a properly fitted car seat or seat belt
