Electrical safety firm Bender UK has won a major award.
The Cumbrian-based company scooped Peninsula Group consultancy business’s health and safety management gold accreditation.
The honour acknowledges Bender UK’s dedication towards welfare, health and safety in the workplace.
It also recognises the company’s endeavours to encourage its workers to adopt safety and health mindsets as they go about their business.
The electrical safety expert’s Ulverston HQ has frequently hit the sector’s occupational health and safety best practice flagship standard.
Health and safety is paramount
Health and safety at work is paramount for its major contractor and site manager partners, says Bender Ireland and Bender UK’s Jon Lyons.
The health and safety manager says this is why it is key that the company keeps its training and compliance to optimum levels to transcend its customers’ hopes.
Mr Lyons’ job is to make sure that the firm hits the best possible welfare health and safety levels both in Ulverston and when on site visits across its customer client base.
Bender UK managing director Steve Mason says the new accreditation puts it ahead of other unaccredited companies.
He says this gives it more chance of winning fresh deals.
Mr Mason says the Peninsula Group’s award confirms that it has all the appropriate requirements not only to make sure of ongoing improvements within its management network, but also stick to big contractors’ safety needs.
