How can I make a door-to-door salesman accident claim?

Your eligibility to make an accident claim depends on the nature of your injuries and when they happened. We can normally help you if your accident happened in the last three years and was caused by someone else.

To start with, we need to establish how you had your accident. Did someone you visited during your daily round injure you? It may be that your employer, a potential customer or member of the public caused your injuries. In each instance, the best thing you can do to strengthen your claim is to have a clear view of what evidence there is to support your case.

The basis for a strong accident claim

There may be CCTV footage of your door-to-door salesman accident. Many roads in the UK are covered by CCTV and many private households or businesses also record footage. Your accident may have been recorded in full, clearly showing how it was caused.

You can also think of witnesses to your accident – colleagues, people passing by or some in the house you were visiting. They may have a clear recollection of how you were injured and be willing to testify on your behalf during the legal claim process.

If you suffered serious injuries, which may have been psychological and physical, you could also have incurred serious financial debts. Your medical fees or accident related expenses could quickly add up, leaving you financially weakened. Such expenses may be considered during the claim process, so ensure that you keep as many receipts as possible.
