"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    Dentist negligence, can I claim?

More so than perhaps any other medical profession, dentistry is a practice that terrifies a significant portion of the population. There’s something undeniably ‘vulnerable’ about being in a dentist’s chair, having your mouth poked and prodded at, that makes many people feel uncomfortable and as such, a trip to the dentists is one that few people relish.

The noise of the drill, the sheer discomfort of keeping your mouth wide open for minutes at a time and the ancient magazines, the dentists is not exactly the place where dreams come true. In fact, it can be the place of nightmares if your dentist damages your teeth through negligence. All it takes is a slip of the hand whilst they’re probing around in your mouth. If this does happen and you are sure it wasn’t just a mistake, but an accident that occurred through their own professional negligence, you might have cause to make a personal injury claim.

Claiming for dental negligence with Accident Advice Helpline

Making a personal injury claim against your dentist is a slightly different procedure than it would be if you were making a claim against your employer or a co-worker but that’s for us to worry about. At the Accident Advice Helpline we do all of the leg work for you, from the initial conversation where we offer advice via either our 24/7 hotline or our 30-second test, right through to the eventual compensation. If you’re wondering whether you have a case or not, one of our highly trained advisers will be able to take you through your case piece by piece before passing your case onto our staff of specially trained lawyers and solicitors.

Maybe your child has been given braces that they don’t need? Maybe you went in for a routine check-up and came back with a severe tooth-ache? Or maybe you’ve just been given a lot of expensive dental treatment that has left your teeth in a state of disrepair? In any case, we’ll be there to listen and give you expert advice with no obligation to go forward.

    Don’t be afraid

Discussing the personal details of your medical history can be emotionally scarring, especially when it comes to dental work, something many people are still rather private about. Our team of lawyers are used to hearing all sorts of problems over the phone though and are incredibly patient, empathetic individuals who have been selected as much for their kind natures as for their qualifications. Court appearances are very rare too and the majority of the cases we deal with will be processed entirely over the phone, giving you a sense of anonymity that will make the personal injury claim process feel surprisingly painless.
