  • Weather – British weather is unpredictable at the best of times, and it will serve you well to be prepared for sudden swings in conditions by wearing footwear and clothing to suit wet and windy conditions (or carry waterproof gear with you).
  • Other climbers – Every climber has a different level of ability, and you can help to prevent accidental climbing injuries by taking this fact into consideration and giving other climbers plenty of space.
