    Compensation for holiday resort injuries

Have you been injured whilst enjoying a holiday abroad? Holiday resort injuries are actually more common than you might think. We’ve all heard the stories of young holidaymakers being seriously injured or even killed after jumping into the resort pool from their balcony, but what about the more minor accidents that could happen abroad?

A slip, trip or fall by the hotel pool or being struck by debris falling from scaffolding when building works are taking place at your hotel could leave you suffering from holiday resort injuries. Even minor injuries have the potential to ruin your holiday at a time when you’re supposed to be relaxing and having fun.

There is some good news though. You may be eligible to claim personal injury compensation, so get in touch with Accident Advice Helpline to find out if we can help you claim. Provided it’s been less than three years since your accident, claiming could be a possibility that’s open to you.

    Injured abroad

Being ill or injured in an accident abroad can be scary, particularly if you are travelling alone or find yourself in an exotic location, far from home. Medical treatment in other countries is not always up to the standard we expect here in the UK, and in some countries it can be very expensive.

We know that the last thing you need after being injured is more stress, so whether you’ve been forced to pay for expensive medical treatment for your injuries or have been left suffering with ongoing pain after returning to the UK, we’ll fight to get you the compensation you deserve.

Provided you booked a package holiday and were injured during organised events or on hotel premises, you could claim compensation – for example if you are hurt on a resort-organised excursion, you could make a claim, whereas if you are injured on a night out with your friends, this wouldn’t be possible.

    How much could you claim?

It’s impossible to say how much compensation you could be eligible to claim without being aware of what has happened to you, but you could take the 30-second test on our website for an idea of how much you could be entitled to.

Our expert personal injury lawyers have 15 years’ experience helping customers claim, so we’ll be able to work out your settlement, taking into account your pain, suffering and any expenses you’ve incurred – as well as the cost of your ruined holiday.

It couldn’t be easier to get in touch with Accident Advice Helpline – just call our freephone helpline on 0800 689 0500 today to find out more from one of our personal injury advisors.
