Causes of holiday falls
There could be a number of things that can lead to someone experiencing a fall, but what is worrying are the causes that should have been prevented by the owners or management company in charge of the resort. Slippery floors can easily cause a fall and hotels and resorts should ensure that the floors are cleaned responsibly and efforts are made to prevent them from becoming dangerous. Pool areas may have tiled flooring or pavements in the surrounding area and it is important that these are safe and cracked tiles that become loose are dealt with.
A child could experience holiday falls when in the pool area if the floors are not maintained as excited children probably will not notice loose tiles when they are having fun. Other areas such as steps and walkways should be safe and the rooms and facilities all need to be well maintained and looked after so they are safe for people to stay in.

Holiday resorts need to maintain high health and safety standards so that holidaymakers do not get injured because of their negligence. They should check their facilities regularly to ensure they meet regulation standards and will not be likely to cause injuries or holiday falls.
