How to claim rowing machine injury compensation

Do you like the idea of rowing but hate water? Maybe you are nowhere near a lake or similar body of water and you still want to get the exercise you’d experience from rowing. Either way, rowing machines do sell well. It is not surprising to find out how many people have one at home.

You have to have the room to accommodate one though, and this is a sticking point for some people. Very often the better way to proceed is to have access to a gym near you, so you can go and use their equipment instead. Theirs is probably going to be far better quality than anything you might afford to have at home, too, bringing yet another advantage to you.

    The last thing you’d expect

When it comes to attending the gym you expect to get some exercise, use the equipment provided, shower off and then return home. You would probably expect to feel a little tired, but nothing more than that.

While most people feel just like this, some have been unlucky enough to be injured while at the gym. If they have used a rowing machine it could simply be because they hadn’t warmed up correctly, or perhaps because they weren’t careful about what they were doing. It is certainly uncommon for someone to be injured because the machine wasn’t fit for being used at all.

    Neglect of health and safety

The people in charge of the gym have a clear duty to make sure they adhere to every health and safety law relevant in their situation. It would be very rare for this not to be the case. However, in some instances someone might be hurt if the people responsible for maintaining the rowing machine hadn’t done their duties in the way that would be expected of them.

It is this type of case that might result in rowing machine injury compensation being paid out. Accident Advice Helpline can deal with all kinds of claims including rowing machine injury compensation. As such, calling us on 0800 689 0500 is the smart way to make sure you can get the outcome you want if you are entitled to claim for any injuries you’ve suffered in the past three years. Don’t let a bad experience using a gym rowing machine result in losing out on compensation payments either.
