"If you've been injured through no fault of your own you could be entitled to compensation. If you're unsure if you could claim, I recommend you call Accident Advice Helpline."

    Broken foot injury advice

At Accident Advice Helpline we offer free, no-obligation broken foot injury advice to anybody who calls us.  We have done our best to outline the most important issues below, but every case is slightly different; if you want to know where you stand, the best thing to do is to pick up the phone.  You can call us at any time, day or night, on any day of the week.  We will not pressure you and we are always ready to listen.

    Compensation for a broken foot

If you would like to claim compensation for a broken foot, a few basic conditions apply.  Firstly, we can’t help you if your accident was just bad luck; the accident must have been somebody else’s fault.  This applies more often than many people think.  If you broke your foot because you tripped over a protruding tree root in the street, for example, you may be able to claim against the local council responsible for maintaining that street in safe condition.

In order to claim compensation, you will also need to have had your injuries confirmed by a doctor or other qualified medical professional soon after the accident so that it is clear how your foot was broken.  You will also need to claim within the legal limit, which is three years in most cases.  Children injured in this way can claim at any time up until their 21st birthdays.

    The claims process

If you decide that you want to claim and your case meets the above conditions, we at Accident Advice Helpline will be happy to assist you.  We can match you with a solicitor who specialises in the type of accident you suffered, making sure you have excellent representation.  You will not need any money up front to pay for this, as we operate on a no-win, no-fee* basis.  If we lose your case we will not expect to be paid.  This means your risks are low and you can get access to justice no matter what your financial circumstances are.

We realise that if you need broken foot injury advice you will probably find it difficult to get around.  If you claim with us, you will be able to deal with your solicitor by phone and we will do our best to avoid you having to travel at all.  In some case our clients do not even have to go to court in order to receive good compensation packages.

    Winning a claim

A broken foot can sometimes cause lasting problems.  It can be slow to heal and it can limit your life options in the meantime.  Winning compensation will not make your foot get better any faster, but it will make it easier to live with.  It will mean that you can afford things such as walking aids and home adaptations to help you to be more independent, and adaptations to your car or money for your taxi fares to help you to get out and about.  It will help to put you back in control of your life.
